RNs and LVNs evaluate the patient’s condition and report to our physician. Nurses coordinate the plan of care and teach the family proper patient care, use of medication, and pain management. The role of the Nurses and LVNs is to help prevent and relieve pain and other symptoms. Your hospice nurse and LVN will try to anticipate your needs and assist you in better understanding the natural progression of your illness.
